It’s no secret the Houston Rockets are trying to trade Russell Westbrook ahead of the 2020-21 season, not because they want to, but because he requested out after just playing one season alongside James Harden.
Only problem here is that the team is having a tough time finding interested partners.
Westbrook’s play before the season shutdown was phenomenal, but in the Orlando bubble, his stock has dropped tremendously because of his bad play.
Only a few teams have reported interest, the Orlando Magic being the latest.
Houston and Orlando reportedly discussed a blockbuster trade for Westbrook involving Aaron Gordon, but the talks never amounted to much of anything.
As Houston tries to find a trade partner for Russell Westbrook — James Harden reportedly wants out as well, but his main team in the Brooklyn Nets are not willing to mortgage their future to get him.
Both players might be starting the season with the Rockets, whether they like it or not.
