Robin Lopez To Decline $5M Player Option (www.espn.com)

Robin Lopez will opt-out of his $5 million player option with the Milwaukee Bucks, making him an unrestricted free agent, reports

.

After the Bucks acquired Jrue Holiday and Bogdan Bogdanovic—sacrificing much of their depth and draft assets to do so—Lopez might have seen more minutes with the Bucks next season.

With Lopez opting out, the Bucks free up some much-needed cap space to complete a championship-caliber roster around two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Lopez, 32, enters his name into the free-agent market, with the hope of potentially earning another long-term deal.
