MIAMI — Marlins general manager Kim Ng will participate in Wednesday’s “Celebrating America” primetime television special as part of the festivities around the inauguration ceremonies for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

The 90-minute program, which will air at 8:30 p.m. ET on the major networks and will be streamed on various social media platforms and streaming services, is in lieu of the usual inaugural balls that follow the day’s ceremonies. Ng, believed to be

“Celebrating America” will be hosted by actor Tom Hanks and will feature performances from artists playing at different locations across the country.
