Former WNBA All-Star Cappie Pondexter Declared A Missing Person

Former WNBA All-Star Cappie Pondexter was declared a missing person after she hasn’t been heard from in days, according to Lyndsey D’Arcangelo of The Athletic.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter, and reportedly have leads. Pondexter’s wallet and phone were reportedly found in her home, according to D’Arcangelo.

There was a report Pondexter had been found, but that report is false, according to D’Arcangelo. Pondexter is still missing.

The WNBPA sent out a tweet asking that anyone with information on Pondexter’s disappearance please contact the authorities.

Pondexter, 37, spent 13 seasons in the WNBA. She played for five teams, including the Phoenix Mercury, New York Liberty, Chicago Sky, Los Angeles Sparks and Indiana Fever.
