College Football Bowl Projections Entering Thanksgiving (247sports.com)

We’re only two days away

after what has felt like an eternity this fall amid postponements, cancellations and revised scheduling. Still, there’s a clear handful of teams within reach of the semifinals and when the smoke settles, there may not be argumentative measure for who’s most deserving after the final weekend.

Sunday’s new AP Top 25 rankings provide an educated guess at how the committee may vote, but it’s not verbatim. Those members place an emphasis of different factors and are supposed to be a bit more hands-on during the voting process.

Our weekly bowl projections might be our most subjective piece at 247Sports and potential matchups are starting to come into focus now that we’ve reached the home stretch of the regular season. There’s no win threshold thanks to schedule alterations this fall and there are a few games that have already been wiped out. Who knows if a full bowl season will be played given the pandemic and increasing numbers.

For now, thought, let’s continue to hold out hope we’ll see a full slate of matchups for holiday enjoyment.
