Clippers Agree To Four-Year Deal With Marcus Morris (twitter.com)

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal with Marcus Morris,

reports. Morris finished the 2019-20 campaign after starting the year with the New York Knicks.

This year’s offseason figures to go a little bit more smoothly than last year’s. The free agent committed on a multiyear deal with the San Antonio Spurs but ultimately pivoted and signed with the Knicks.

Morris played a supporting role on a Clippers team that underachieved in the bubble, averaging 10.1 points per game in his 19 regular season contests with him. Morris showed prior to arriving in L.A., however, that he’s capable of more.

Morris put 19.3 points per game with the Knicks prior his getting bought out at the buyout deadline. This training camp, as abbreviated as it may be, will give Morris an opportunity to increase his fit with the Western Conference contender.
