The Houston Astros have placed All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa on the 10-day injured list Tuesday night, as reported by Fox 26’s Mark Berman.

Correa exited Monday night’s game against the Detroit Tigers with back discomfort. Astros manager AJ Hinch addressed the injury with reporters following the 5-4 victory:

Houston will hope that Correa’s stay on the IL this time to be shorter than his last stint, which sidelined him from May 27 to July 24 with a fractured rib suffered during an at-home massage.
