On just his second carry of the game, Bigsby landed heavily on his side. Because of that, Bigsby came off the field and spent some time in the injury tent. Although he never went to the locker room until the first half was over, Bigsby came out from halftime without pads on. At the start of the third quarter, ESPN’s Allison Williams reported that Bigsby had been ruled out for the rest of the contest.

Losing Bigsby for the rest of the game is obviously bad news for the Tigers, but it would be even worse if he’s out for any extended period of time. Through the first six games of the season, the freshman totaled 503 rushing yards and five touchdowns to go along with 84 receiving yards.
In the absence of Bigsby, Auburn will turn to Shaun Shivers and D.J. Williams in the backfield for the rest of the game.
